About the Role
We are looking for an experienced
Head, Credit Scoring & Limit Management
to lead risk technology initiatives across Corporate Functions. This role partners closely with business owners, risk teams and technology groups to ensure high-quality delivery of credit scoring, risk systems and limit management solutions.
You will oversee technology operations, shape IT governance and policies, manage end-to-end credit risk system enhancements, and serve as the primary point of contact to front-line business units. The role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and the ability to deliver solutions that improve credit decisioning, regulatory compliance and operational efficiency.
Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technology solutions.
Lead end-to-end design, development and implementation of credit scoring & limit management systems.
Establish IT policies, governance standards and procedures aligned with corporate strategy.
Analyse business and system needs across departments and ensure technology roadmaps meet organisational goals.
Oversee technology operations, system stability, and performance metrics.
2. Solution Design & Implementation
Lead solution identification, feasibility studies, and system enhancements.
Ensure solutions adhere to industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and internal standards.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives that elevate system efficiency, credit accuracy, and automation levels.
Ensure integration and alignment with enterprise risk, credit, and regulatory frameworks.
3. Stakeholder Management
Act as the single point of contact for business units on credit risk systems and digital initiatives.
Manage stakeholder expectations from operational teams to senior leadership.
Facilitate clear communication on project progress, risks, challenges and system readiness.
Build trusted partnerships with risk, credit, operations, compliance and audit functions.
4. Project & Change Management
Lead multiple complex projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
Apply structured project management methodologies to ensure delivery on time, within scope and budget.
Drive adoption of new systems, upgrades and enhancements through effective change management.
Conduct impact assessments, readiness checks and system deployment planning.
Required Skills & Experience
Strong analytical, problem-solving and implementation skills.
Experience managing transformational initiatives across large and complex organisations.
Solid understanding of
Banking Risk
, credit processes, and risk management frameworks.
Sound knowledge of
local laws and regulations
relating to banking risk, credit policy and regulatory reporting.
Ability to identify patterns, trends and hidden issues in complex environments.
Basic to intermediate understanding of banking products, limit structures and credit facilities.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
High integrity, professionalism and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Proven experience in successful implementation or management of
Banking Risk Systems
, particularly in financial institutions or large enterprises.
Certifications (Preferred)
Program / Project Management, Agile, Scrum, or ITIL certifications.
Certifications related to
Banking Risk
(e.g., FRM, CRM, CRC, CRP) are an added advantage.

Pay: RM10,000.00 - RM50,000.00 per month
