The Role Responsibilities Strategy

• Building a team of trusted investment advisors that are capable to showcase wealth management capabilities of the bank and deliver income targets of Wealth Management.

Business

• To achieve Managed Investment revenue and sales targets.
• Drive lending take up rate on Unit Trust transactions.
• Maintain a monthly UT sales activation rate of at least 90% across the all CR job families.

Processes

• Work with WM Investment Products as part of Country Advisory Council to provide monthly actionable ideas and product solutions.
• Ensure daily morning huddle at branches to brief current market direction and investment solutions.
• Ensure smooth management of weekly investment seminars at branches by utilizing Group IASG and in-country expertise.
• Manage clients\xe2\x80\x99 investment through frequent and consistent portfolio review and advice.

People and Talent

• Constantly upskill, reskill and train key stakeholders (client relationship teams and IA team).

Governance

• Ensure all transactions follow all regulations and controls set by the Bank and external regulatory authorities; which includes but not limited to KYC, proper documentation of transactions, risk-profiling, pre-investment forms.
• Ensure periodic updates of new regulatory requirements and / or operating procedures to sales force.

Regulatory and Business Conduct

• Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group\xe2\x80\x99s Values and Code of Conduct.
• Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
• Lead to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank\xe2\x80\x99s Conduct Principles: [Fair Outcomes for Clients; Effective Financial Markets; Financial Crime Compliance; The Right Environment].
• Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

• Client Relationship teams, Investment Advisors, CPBB Marketing, Operations, Retail Analytics, Client Experience, Affluent Segment Proposition, Wealth Management teams, external partners.
