o Responsible and accountable for the development, advancement and enhancement of the academic strategy of the department in line with the overall college\xe2\x80\x99s strategic plans and direction; o Coordinate, manage and monitor the delivery of teaching & learning activities of all academic programs; ensuring all documentation and filing on teaching & learning, including student attendance are intact and up to date; o Implement, manage and improvise processes and policies in support of all aspects of teaching and learning activities; o Develop and sustain appropriate structures for management, consultation, decision-makingandcommunication with staff and students; o Promote and represent the college both internally and externally; o Ensure all academic programs are carried out to the highest possible standards and put inplace the necessary evaluation and monitoring procedures to ensure both compliance andimprovement actions are taken; o Comply with auditing, quality assurance and risk management procedure both internallyand externally; o Leade academic team in obtaining external certification in teaching and learning; o Plan and develop new programs, aligning the academic program with CCKKeducational and business model; o Cultivate the culture of excellence, co-operation and respect both within and beyond thedepartment, and make effective use of all staffing resources; o Ensure a safe and healthy working environment for staff and learning environment forstudents; o Take responsibility of devolved budgets and comply with college\xe2\x80\x99s financial regulations. o Manage income and expenditure in order to promote financial sustainability by monitoringstudent academic progress and provide guidance to students. o Ensure college\xe2\x80\x99s equipment or facilities under the management\xe2\x80\x99s control are properlymaintained and serviced as required. o Provide leadership and supervision to subordinate, to ensure all staff performance within the department is managed appropriately and in a way that is consistent with the expectations of the college and to ensure that fair allocation of processes and workload is in place; o Ensure staff has access to the necessary support and resources that enable them to contribute and perform efficiently and effectively level while developing their skills and experience; o Review, prepare, control and keep track of all academic related financial expenditures; o Liaises with local government agencies, private sectors, community and hospital partners, and other external institution and industries with regards to academic programs and students matters; and o Plan effective strategies for the financial well-being of the college with regards to academic matters.
Cyberjaya College Kota Kinabalu has been established since 2008 and is an affiliate of the University of Cyberjaya. The College specialises in health science programmes such as Nursing, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Healthcare and Psychology. The college also has programmes focused in Business Studies as well as Foundation studies This college has become one of the largest private college institutions in Plaza Juta, Likas. Its main building was officiated by Sabah Chief Minister Tan Sri Datuk Seri Panglima Haji Musa bin Haji Aman on 2nd February 2010. The campus is fully equipped with modern facilities and latest laboratories for quality education and students experience.
