About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented

Head of Accounts

to oversee our finance and accounting functions. This role is critical in ensuring accurate financial reporting, effective budget management, and compliance with statutory requirements. You will lead the accounts team, work closely with management on financial strategy, and support decision-making through sound financial insights.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the accounting department, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all financial transactions Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing and reporting Prepare and present financial statements in compliance with accounting standards Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and cash flow planning Ensure timely submission of statutory reports (tax, audit, etc.) Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and regulatory authorities Implement and maintain robust internal controls and accounting policies Analyse financial data to support management decision-making Mentor and develop the accounts team to maintain high performance standards

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (professional certifications such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA an advantage) Minimum

2 years of accounting experience

, with at least 1 year in a leadership role Strong knowledge of Malaysian financial regulations, tax laws, and reporting requirements Proficient in Xero and Bukku Excellent analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills Strong leadership and communication abilities High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
