We're recruiting a senior leader to take full accountability for an international organisations assets and vessel management function. This is a strategic, hands-on role responsible for maximising fleet availability, driving operational excellence and ensuring regulatory / class compliance across complex DP and heavy-lift vessels.
Your new role:
- Set and execute asset & vessel management strategy to optimise utilisation, lifecycle and return on investment.
- Lead and develop a high-performing asset team, embedding continuous improvement and succession planning.
- Oversee full lifecycle activities: acquisition, operation, maintenance, dry-docking and disposal.
- Deliver safety, technical integrity and class compliance across the fleet.
- Manage OPEX/CAPEX planning and the annual asset budget; drive cost-efficient maintenance and vendor negotiations.
- Support commercial and delivery teams with asset readiness for tenders and project mobilisation.
Must-have experience & qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering or related discipline.
- 20+ years' experience in offshore oil & gas / marine energy, with a minimum of 10 years in senior asset/vessel leadership.
- Direct, demonstrable experience with DP vessels - Heavy-lift and Pipe-lay DP vessels experience is essential.
- Strong track record in asset performance improvement, maintenance strategy, dry-dock planning and regulatory/class engagement.
- Proven financial acumen managing budgets, CAPEX programmes and cost recovery.
