Job Description


KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Responsible for the management of claims function in a timely and cost effective manner through the application of your skills, background and knowledge. ROLE SPECIFIC: Management of the Claims Function Manage Service Level Agreements (SLA) of our partners/internal teams and lead the team to either met or exceed the agreed SLA Identify the priorities in claims function to increase the efficiency in claim processes and improve in customer satisfaction; Monitor the team performance as set in the KPIs and ensure adherence to the Claims Best Practices guideline; Collaborate with Quality Assurance Team to conduct OFR & CFR review for claims of all LOBs; Identify training opportunities (including soft skills), develop training plan and ensure execution of plan with coordination of senior claims executive, HR and training team when required; Being the key contact person for operation escalations and provides approval within the claims authority limit; Manage the structure of the team and enable the flexibility of support across different LOBs to meet business needs; Manage customer feedback, inquiries and complaints promptly and effectively within designated timelines whilst providing a feasible resolution through established departmental processes and procedures; and Promote positive teamwork and collaboration in assuming the responsibilities of other team members as and when required. Monitor and advise on adequacy of claims reserving systems Provide professional commentary and recommendations to superior/Senior Mgmt in claims management issues that are outside the authorised approval limit Establish, monitor and accountable to the Claims NPS score across all LOBs Continuous improvement and simplification of Claims Processes Sharing and keeping abreast with internal and external industry best practise Continuous team and staff development to ensure reskilling and upskilling of the team. To practise progressive checks-in with team to ensure proper tracking of staff performance and provide necessary improvement feedback. Talent management and employee retention Promote staff engagement in the company activities to improve the AES score Governance Ensure relevant processes and procedures related to claims function are consistently updated; and Ensure proper controls are in place and that claims are processed with high accuracy within agreed SLA. To implement department\'s effective internal controls and efficient work processes for full compliance with all internal and external policies procedures and regulatory requirements. Partner Relationship Being involved in Partner Relationships meetings; and Representing Allianz Partners as a Senior Operations Leader Operations - Strategy Ownership Owning and managing the Claims Operation Strategy Plan actions; and Being part of the Operations Senior Leadership team to drive company\'s strategy Contribution to the achievement of Business Units Operating Profit plans Allianz Group is one of the most trusted insurance and asset management companies in the world.
