About the Company The organization is a publicly listed company from Europe that specializes in IT Mobility. They are the biggest independent engineering service provider in the space of software and digitalization, focusing on self-driving, AI, and digital features. With strong revenue in the first half of 2023, they are looking to expand the team in Malaysia by hiring the Head of Division for their Software & Digital arm. Technology Stack: Java/Kotlin with Spring Boot, React.js, PostgreSQL and MongoDB, AWS, Kubernetes. Team Size: 15-20 Software Engineers Responsibilities Disciplinary leadership, communication, coaching, and development of all team members as well as planning and implementation of individual personal measures and measures for the efficient design of processes and the deployment of team members in responsibility. Strategic recruitment of Software Engineers including application reviews, candidate interviews, assessments, and hiring recommendations. Productivity and performance management of all team members. Productive participation in Team Software projects (% depends on team size). Comply and adhere to the currently valid and applicable laws as well as guidelines, processes, work instructions, specifications, and guidelines (e.g., code of conduct, compliance guideline, signature guideline) of the Company. Develop the area of responsibility in accordance with the agreed goals and ensure that these goals are achieved and adhered to. Participation in the development of Department strategy and implementation in your own area of responsibility, considering the market situation. Ensuring infrastructural requirements for optimal order processing in terms of costs, deadlines, and quality. Planning and taking responsibility for the human and financial resources of the area of responsibility and active participation in the preparation of the financial year planning for the entire department, as well as ensuring that this is adhered to. Recognize new trends and innovations in the market and develop them for the team at an early stage, taking strategic requirements into account.
