Job Opportunity

Responsible for the financial, management reporting, budgets, taxation, project costing and financing, accounting, and audit functions for Group and subsidiaries.

Working closely with Board of Directors leading the development of the Group's corporate finance function, M & A operational/financial processes & flow and internal control systems.

Responsible to analysis, interpret and prepare financial data to provide management information on cost allocation and control, financial forecasting, acquisitions, and divestment.

Ensuring compliance to accounting standards, risk management, statutory and other external requirements.

Involved in overall group finance and accounting functions which encompass general accounting policies, completeness of accounts, collection & payments.

Fixed assets, insurance, stock takes, intercompany disputes & balances, financial planning & analysis, consolidates group accounts and all other financial reporting on a timely basis.

• Play a strategic role in identifying opportunities & implementing financial solutions which would involve in-depth studies and understanding of the various operations process flows, structure & business model to bring about continuous productivity and efficiency improvements with consistent, scalable, and reliable solutions.
• Develops organization prospects by studying economic trends and revenue opportunities; projecting acquisition and expansion prospects; analyzing organization operations; identifying opportunities for improvement, cost reduction, and systems enhancement; and accumulating capital to fund expansion.

Requirements

Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Bachelor's Degree, Professional Degree or Master's Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking.

Must be a member of MIA;

Minimum 15-20 years' working experience in auditing/accounting.

Sound knowledge of the FRSs.

Proficient in using MS Word, Excel, Power Point and excellent in analytical and financial data sourcing skills.

Good command of English - both written and oral.

Have a strong sense of commitment, teamwork, and good interpersonal skills.
