Job Description

• Proven experience (min. 10 years) in financial management, with a strong background in financial reporting, analysis, and control.
• Audit experience is a must.
• Solid knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial best practices.
• Proficiency in financial software and systems
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal abilities, with a track record of effectively managing and developing teams.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

Financial Reporting and Analysis:

• Lead the preparation and presentation of timely, accurate, and comprehensive financial reports, statements, and analyses to inform key stakeholders.
• Monitor financial performance against budgets, forecasts, and prior-year results, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

• Develop and manage annual budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and operational plans.
• Provide guidance and insights to support effective resource allocation and cost control measures.

Compliance and Regulatory Oversight:

• Ensure adherence to all relevant financial regulations, laws, and accounting standards.
• Manage tax compliance, audits, and reporting requirements, liaising with external auditors and regulatory authorities as needed.

Financial Operations:

• Supervise day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll functions.
• Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy of financial records.

Team Leadership and Development:

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven work environment.
• Provide training, guidance, and performance feedback to team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.
