About our client:
This company is a market leader in the bitumen/ashpalt industry with multiple brand presence and partnerships across Malaysia. They are looking to hire a head of finance to be based in Kuching to support the senior management, lead the finance team and work closely with counterparts in Kuala Lumpur.
Your key responsibilities includes
- Take charge of full set reporting, budgeting, forecasting, FP&A and compliance
- Handle financial projections, monitor performance against budget.
- Ensure alignment of local processes and controllership compliance
- Co-ordinate with Treasury for local treasury/banking requirements
- Manage and guide a lean team towards excellence
- Support on audits, statutory reporting and tax
- At least a bachelor\'s degree in Finance/Accounting, and/or professional qualifications (ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, etc.)
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in finance and accounting scope from any industries.
- A proven track record of being a key contributor to the business\'s commercial value.
- Experience liaising with bankers
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders (finance and non-finance)
