The Company
Our client is a growing European MNC in the FMCG industry based in Selangor. With their robust expansion plans in place to continue gaining a stronger foothold here in this region, they are looking for a Head of Finance with strong Commercial Finance and Strategic Planning capabilities to lead the team forward.

Your Role
In this role, you will be leading the Finance team as a Senior Finance leader in the Malaysia office and report directly to a Regional CFO based abroad. Aside from overseeing Finance Controlling, your role will focus on supporting senior management and the local Managing Director on strategic matters and in managing this Commercial Finance aspect, you will need to business partner closely with the Sales, Marketing and Operations team. This regional role will also ensure compliance in reporting and coordination of financial presentations to senior management and Board.

Skills & Experience Required
This role would require applicants to have at least 12 years experience in a progressive role within Finance & Accounting and at least a Degree in Finance/Accounting or professional qualification. You will also need to be experienced in industries such as FMCG and/or Manufacturing as this will help with understanding how as a Finance Business Partner, you need to collaborate closely with the Commercial and Operations team. Candidates with strong stakeholder management is crucial for your success.
