About Our Client:
Our client is a prominent conglomerate listed on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia, with its headquarters located in Kuching, Sarawak. The Group's diversified portfolio comprises over 30 companies across various sectors and countries, including cement and phosphate manufacturing, property development, construction, trading, green technology, oil tools, and telecommunications infrastructure, among others.
Job Summary:
Head of Global Operations is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing and optimizing all operational functions across a company's global footprint. This includes ensuring efficient and safe operations, managing resources, and driving continuous improvement to achieve strategic business goals.
Key Responsibilities: * Business Unit Heads / Country Managers:
i. Manage daily operations in the most efficient and safe manner in the countries within the region which including delivery of the Company's commitment towards the clients.
ii. Define and implement an appropriate Strategy for the country of his responsibility in order to maximize market share, revenue, pricing and profitability, consistent with the Company's strategic goals

• Business Acquisition:

i. Pipelines of contract/ project
ii. Market Survey
iii. Pre-Qualification
iv. Clients management support
v. Secure payments from clients
vi. Develop business strategy in line with objectives set by the Division & HQ

• Technology & Asset Management:

i. Responsible for managing all aspects of Drilling Fluids (DF) & Drilling Waste Management (DWM) technical development & support for global operations.
ii. Manage the DF & DWM product strategy, individual market growth and the increasing of the global market share
iii. Designing solutions fit for market, review of systems, technology for commercial viability and commercialization
iv. Oversee and optimize the performance of assets, ensuring they are effectively to maximize production and profitability.
v. Plan, execute and monitor assets related to projects and maintenance while adhering to safety and regulatory standards
Competencies: * Exceptional negotiation and communication skills.

• Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
• In-depth knowledge of oil and gas markets, regulations, and industry trends.
• Leadership and team management skills.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis.

Requirements: 1. Qulifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
• MBA or advanced degree in a relevant discipline is preferred.

2. Experience:

• Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, with at least 5 years in a senior commercial or business development role.
• Proven track record of successfully managing regional operations, asset management & business development.
• Strong understanding of upstream, midstream, and downstream operations.
