Open Position: Head of IT (Digital Transformation for Retail)
A retail company is hiring for Head of IT (Digital Transformation for Retail) to join the team and be based in the Kuala Lumpur office.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leads the IT team and oversees all activities related to IT operations, IT Help Desk, Enterprise applications, Infrastructure and IT requirements.
- Lead IT projects, including the design and deployment of new IT systems and service.
- Identify IT gaps and opportunities in the organization and propose best-fit solutions. Oversees the development of mission-critical applications and technology to support the company\xe2\x80\x99s long-term goals.
- Oversees a robust set of ongoing new projects as well as current operations/enhancements to enable the operation\xe2\x80\x99s sustained growth towards that vision/strategy, including ERP & POS migration, CRM set up, HRMS, IT security, etc.
- Analyze IT issues from different perspectives and recommend where possible cost-effective, practical solutions.
- Keeps the management informed by preparing reports; making presentations; interpreting information; and making recommendations.
- Provide and conduct pre-implementation test scenarios and test results for the customized reports and new/enhanced application system.
- Monitor performance of information technology systems to determine cost and productivity levels, and to make recommendations for improving the IT infrastructure.
