Understand the business strategies and objectives to develop effective IT strategies and action plans by partnering the stakeholders and business units.
Plan and manage IT resource requirements such as financial budget, manpower, equipment, software and outsourced services to deliver efficient and cost-effective IT services and facilities along with the functional and technical support required.
Ongoing review of new technologies, methodologies, market offerings, local & global industry trends and management frameworks for continuous improvements in terms of cost-effectiveness, efficiency, risk management and compliance.
Responsible for IT security, compliance, governance and risk management.
Plan and manage the full life cycle of business applications and infrastructure systems implemented.
Evaluate and develop the performance of all department staff according to the HR strategic plan and departmental needs such as development of technical competencies and soft skills, tasks rotation and succession planning.
Provide consultation or advisory services to other business units with regards to IT-related matters.
Managing a team of 12 team members.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor Degree in IT, ICT, MIS or any related field
Minimum four (4) years to five (5) years of similar mid-level management experience or as Head of IT
A team player, hands on experience and able to work with minimum supervision, good interpersonal and communication skills and ability to probe for more information
Communicate in business terms or context relevant to business units\' or stakeholders\' domain
Understand and adopt other management practices such as strategy development, risk management, talent management, financial management, procurement, document management, supplier & contract management, SHE, etc
Good communications and negotiation skills.
