Location: Damansara (flexibility required to work with PJ City IT team)

Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 8.45am - 5.45pm

Tenure: Permanent

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced

Head of Security Management

to lead and strengthen the IT Security framework across our Group of Companies. This role involves developing and executing security strategies, ensuring regulatory compliance, and safeguarding our systems, applications, and data assets.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the IT Security Department, overseeing systems, networks, applications, and databases. Develop and implement Group-wide IT Security strategies, policies, and budgets (Capex & Opex). Ensure compliance with regulatory and audit requirements (internal, external, and partners such as VISA, Mastercard, AMEX, MEPS). Drive initiatives to identify, mitigate, and monitor IT risks. Oversee implementation and optimization of security tools (SIEM, DLP, IDMS, Firewalls, Anti-DDOS, etc.). Manage penetration tests, risk assessments, and incident response plans. Provide leadership, direction, and development to a team of managers and technical professionals. Support Group-level IT Security needs across regions (Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, Hong Kong, and beyond).

Requirements:

Degree in IT, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field. Minimum

10 years of experience

in IT Security, with at least

5 years in a managerial or leadership role

. Strong knowledge of security architecture, risk management, and regulatory compliance in financial or banking environments. Proven experience with enterprise security solutions (SIEM, DLP, IAM, Firewalls, etc.). Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills.

Pay: RM18,000.00 - RM28,000.00 per month
