Plan annual marketing calendars, campaigns, and promotions to drive visitor attendance and viewership.
Position the organization as a leading brand in the creative, tourism, and entertainment industries.
Oversee market research, competitor analysis, and consumer insights to guide strategy.
B. Media & Content Marketing
Manage publicity and promotional campaigns for TV programs, films, digital content, and live events.
Collaborate with production teams to ensure alignment between content creation and marketing strategy.
Build partnerships with media outlets, influencers, and online platforms to increase exposure.
Develop creative assets (trailers, posters, digital ads, etc.) to promote media content.
C. Theme Park Marketing
Create and execute marketing campaigns for Wetland Studios Putrajaya, including seasonal events, school programs, and travel agent promotions.
Drive walk-in, online, and group ticket sales through strategic partnerships and digital channels.
Oversee guest engagement, CRM database, and loyalty programs.
D. Communications & Public Relations
Manage all internal and external communications, ensuring consistent brand messaging.
Oversee media relations, press conferences, and crisis communication when needed.
Craft compelling narratives for campaigns, press materials, and corporate announcements.
Maintain strong relationships with government agencies, tourism boards, and industry stakeholders.
E. Digital & Social Media Management
Supervise content creation for social media platforms, websites, and email marketing.
Monitor analytics and engagement metrics to optimize digital strategies.
Lead influencer collaborations and user-generated content initiatives.
F. Budget & Team Management
Plan and manage marketing budgets across divisions, ensuring cost-effective execution.
Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of marketers, designers, and publicists.
Set performance KPIs and monitor progress toward marketing and sales objectives.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Mass Media, or a related field (Master's preferred).
Minimum
3-5 years of experience
in marketing and communications, preferably in
media, entertainment, or tourism industries
.
Proven success in managing large-scale campaigns and brand partnerships.
Strong leadership, creative, and analytical skills.
Excellent communication (written and verbal) in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Proficiency in digital marketing tools, social media analytics, and CRM systems.
