Job Description


Our client is one of the fastest-growing Convenience Store chains and they are looking for a Head of Marketing to help grow their brand . The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting the marketing strategy, developing and implementing plans to drive offline and online presence and top-line growth. This role will require the candidate to oversee branding initiatives and tactical promotional campaigns, including PR, design, social media, copywriting, performance marketing, partnerships, affiliates, and the eCommerce platform.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement and manage end-to-end strategic marketing plans for offline and online channels that align with business objectives and drive revenue growth for the company and relevant brands in the ecosystem.
  • Develop and implement marketing activities that increase brand value, awareness and capture market share.
  • Lead the development of creative marketing content, messaging, and branding initiatives that resonate with the target audience.
  • Oversee the growth and engagement across all social media channels, including community management.
  • Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) across all channels, regularly report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and propose improvements.
  • Develop and manage the offline and online marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources to achieve maximum ROI.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan, launch, and execute effective promotional online and offline campaigns, including in-store activations, events, performance marketing, CRM, and other marketing-related activities, and ensure consistent branding and messaging across all channels and touchpoints.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with external key stakeholders, including suppliers, partners, and customers.
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends, consumer insights, and emerging technologies to continuously improve marketing strategies and tactics.
  • Collaborate with the company HQ marketing team where necessary, to align on brand guidelines and develop global marketing initiatives that can be localized for the Malaysian market.
Requirements
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (8-10 years) in a senior marketing role, with a focus on end-to-end campaign planning, branding, and KPI monitoring.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate complex ideas in a simple and clear manner.
  • Strong analytical and data-driven mindset, with the ability to interpret and analyze data from our online and offline marketing channels to make informed decisions.
  • Ability to think creatively and develop innovative marketing strategies that differentiate the company from competitors.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of the Malaysian retail market and experience working with a retail, FMCG, F&B, or eCommerce company is preferred.
  • Proficient in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Remuneration

RM 10,000 to RM 15,000
