Client background: Tyre industry Position title: Head of Operation Headcount: 1 Location: Nibong Tebal/ Shah Alam Tenure: Permanent Responsibilities: . Handling and supporting for the department consist of Warehouse, Sales Administration, Purchasing and Human Resources. . Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with company policies, quality standards, and legal requirement. . Investigate problems, analyse root causes and define resolutions. . Work closely with top management in strategic planning of operational activities to achieve business goal. . Collaborates with all departmental teams to establish business goal, objective and targets. . To ensure compliance with established SOP, policies, safety regulations and maintains effective internal controls within the group. . Develops and implements operational strategies, policies and procedure to improve efficiency and effectiveness. . Monitors and evaluate operational performance, identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions. . Manage and allocates resources effectively, including budgeting, staffing and equipment planning. . Builds and maintains strong relationship with key stakeholders, such as clients, suppliers and business partners. . Build strong department team by coaching, counselling, and disciplining employees planning, monitoring and appraising employee performance. . Motivate, organize, develop and encourage teamwork within the workforce to ensure KPIs are met or exceeded. . Identifies and implements process improvements to streamline operations and reduce costs. . Ensures accuracy and maintenance of data related to department and provides periodic report to the top management on any related matters whenever required. . To communicate regularly with top management regarding to any problem or issue affecting to the operation of company. Qualification and experience: . A degree in Accounting / Business Management / Finance / Information Technology / or equivalent. . Male or Female. . Minimum 10 years experience as an Operation Manager or equivalent position. . Working experience in medium size trading company. . Business to business type of company experience.
