Our reputable renewable energy client is looking for Head of Portfolio Trading for their Hydrogen Division.

Job Scope:

• The Head of Portfolio Trading\'s responsibility to develop and improve realized margins for Hydrogens\' growing portfolio and managing the optimisation of a sizeable marketing and trading business.

• Must be familiar with marketing, trading, storage and transportation of energy products.

• This role is critical to the success of the Commercial team, requiring the capability to generate value through evaluating, recommending, and executing disciplined marketing and trading strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing a reliable market for Hydrogen\'s growing business. Maintaining and growing strategic customer relationships

• Identifying opportunities and executing disciplined marketing and trading strategies for hydrogen and its derivative products

• Management and Optimization of company owned and third-party transportation and storage assets.

• Ensuring trades and corresponding confirmations accurately reflect the agreed upon commercial and contractual terms. Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements for the portfolio\'s hydrogen products to end market

• Ensures market access for carbon certificate trading and any required hedging products

• Assisting in the development of long-term commercial marketing strategies

• Providing timely quality deliverables (e.g., internal reporting, market analysis and external presentations)

• Builds positive relationships based on trust and seeks collaboration across organizational boundaries to achieve goals.

• Trades within mandates and according to company procedures at all times

Required Skills / Knowledge:

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree or higher in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Math, Science, or another related or foreign equivalent

• 10+ years of experience in natural gas trading and/or related activity with advanced knowledge on Carbon markets (voluntary and compliance).

• Experience of industrial gases or petrochemical sector is a bonus

• Detailed understanding of natural gas sales/transportation/storage contracts and environmental markets

• Ability to thrive in a team-oriented, dynamic trade floor environment.

• Advanced knowledge of Asia\'s energy supply and demand fundamentals. International exposure is a plus.

• Understanding Asia\'s pipeline grid and interconnecting regions

• Advanced knowledge of understanding risk management concepts and tools

• Recognized industry leadership.

• Ability to build relationships and provide outstanding customer service to internal and external stakeholders.

• Capable of anticipating problems, making decisions, and executing plans

• To work without constant supervision.

• History of delivering on commitments
