Head of Procurement Department



We are seeking an experienced Head of Procurement department to lead and oversee our procurement strategy, supplier management, and sourcing operations. The ideal candidate will be a strong negotiator, strategic thinker, and effective leader with a proven track record in procurement and supply chain management.

Key Responsibilities:



Develop and implement procurement strategies, policies, and annual sourcing plans. Lead supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management to ensure cost efficiency and compliance. Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, driving continuous improvement and innovation. Oversee procurement operations, including purchase requisitions, stock planning, and timely deliveries. Manage supplier performance, risk mitigation, and resolution of escalations or disputes. Lead, mentor, and develop the procurement team to achieve departmental goals.

Requirements:



Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field Minimum 5 years of procurement experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role. Strong knowledge of sourcing, contract law, supplier management, and compliance standards. Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills. Ability to work cross-functionally with Finance, QA, operations and others.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
