The incumbent will be responsible for supporting Sales and Distribution operations within the assigned area, ensuring the achievement of sales KPIs and business growth targets. This role requires close collaboration with distributors, dealers, and internal stakeholders to drive sales performance, optimize trade marketing activities, and strengthen dealer engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Dealer Management
Collaborate closely with distributors to manage dealer portfolios, including system-related tasks such as network creation, modification, and termination.
Plan, lead, and execute sales strategies and promotional activities to achieve sales targets and expand UM touchpoints and pyramid coverage.
Strengthen dealer loyalty through effective activations for both Prepaid and Postpaid plans.
Provide coaching and guidance to the Product Specialist and Sales Teams to achieve area sales goals and monitor performance effectively.
Trade Marketing & Market Intelligence
Provide trade marketing support including events, signage, POSM, and pyramid performance tracking.
Ensure all sales materials and POSM are updated and aligned with current campaigns.
Monitor market movements and competitors' activities through market intelligence to identify new opportunities.
Training & Knowledge Development
Conduct training sessions to ensure dealer competency in:
System:
Accurate activations and system compliance
Product:
Comprehensive knowledge of product offerings
Sales Techniques:
Delivering accurate and persuasive product information
Incentives/Pyramid:
Guidance on loyalty programs and incentive structures
POSM:
Familiarity with the latest marketing materials
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Proactively coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth execution of sales plans and optimize resource utilization in achieving sales objectives.
Job Requirements
Diploma or Degree in any field.
Minimum
6 years of sales experience
in Telco or FMCG industries, with at least
3 years in a sales team management role.
Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Aggressive, results-driven, and proactive in identifying growth opportunities.
Possess own transport and a valid driving license.
Willing to travel as required.
