Job Description

Reporting to a CEO, the Head of Renewable is to develop strategies for the company\'s renewable energy portfolio and ensuring that the company remains competitive and profitable in its renewable energy business

Market Analysis

Conduct a thorough market analysis of the Malaysia & SEA region to identify renewable energy projects. This analysis should consider factors such as available resources (wind, solar, hydro, biomass), regulatory framework, government policies, economic conditions and local infrastructure.

Project Management

Manage a pipeline of both Greenfield and Brownfield renewable energy projects. This involves identify potential project sites, assessing their feasibility and securing necessary permits and approvals and manage the end-to-end projects. Ensuring that all detailed engineering comply with Technical Specifications and legal requirements.

Stakeholder Management

Coordinate internal stakeholders such as finance, legal and so on and external stakeholders such as consultants, authorities and so on in the business development cycle. This involves building strong relationships with key stakeholders ensuring effective communication and managing expectations.

Bid management

Manage the end-to-end commercial bid cycle including internal approvals and management of external bid documents and submission. This involves ensuring that bids are of high quality, meet all submission requirements and submitted on time.

Partnership development

Development of strong partnerships that are complementary to the organization\'s strategy. Identifying potential partners, building relationships and negotiating partnerships.

Health & Safety

Implement Health & safety procedures and ensures compliance for safety at work for all. This involves developing and implementing policies that promote a safe and healthy working environment for all employees and contractors.

The ideal candidate should possess:

• Degree in Engineering
• Project Engineering experience within Power Plant or Renewable Power Projects
• Strong commercial acumen
• Strong stakeholder management skills
• Proven success in driving business towards profitability
