Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

1. Academic Leadership & Quality Assurance

Lead the planning, implementation, and evaluation of Beauty and Aesthetics SKM programs. Ensure compliance with Department of Skills Development (DSD/JPK) standards and accreditation requirements. Oversee curriculum review and enhancement to reflect current industry practices. Conduct internal audits and maintain program documentation for DSD/MQA.

2. Teaching & Learning Excellence

Supervise instructors in lesson planning, assessment design, and training delivery. Promote innovative teaching methods and learner-centred approaches. Monitor student performance and ensure effective remedial and support systems.

3. Industry Collaboration & Student Employability

Build partnerships with beauty salons, wellness centres, and aesthetic institutes for student placement and industrial training. Align program outcomes with industry competency demands. Facilitate guest lectures, workshops, and certifications to enhance employability.

4. People Management & Development

Manage and mentor a team of instructors, trainers, and support staff. Identify training needs and professional development opportunities for staff. Oversee performance evaluations and staff scheduling.

5. Administrative & Operational Management

Manage the school's budget, inventory, and training facilities. Ensure safety, hygiene, and compliance of practical training labs. Prepare academic reports and participate in institutional planning meetings.

Qualification & Experience Requirements:

DLKM/DKM in Beauty Therapy, Aesthetics, or related field; or Diploma/Degree in Beauty and Aesthetics, Cosmetology, or related field with at least 2 years of industry experience. Must have completed Kursus Induksi PP-PPD-PPB. Minimum 5 years of teaching and/or industry experience in Beauty, Spa, or Aesthetic Therapy. Experience managing SKM-accredited programs is an advantage. Strong leadership and communication skills. Knowledge of DSD standards and accreditation processes. Ability to manage operations and motivate a team.
