We are searching for a strong leader who will oversee the non-product related purchasing team across our BE facilities in Malaysia and the Philippines, a Head of Sourcing NPR Asia.
What You Will DoAccountable for all NPR (non-product related) purchases in Malaysia and the Philippines
Responsible for a team of ~8 buyers across sites
As the key member of the global procurement management team (PMT) as well as direct bridge between site MT, BGs and procurement
play a leading role in our capacity extension project in Malaysia by settling sustainable contracts, building and maintaining long-term supplier partnerships focusing on the 4-Buy Principle (Buy Right, Buy Low, Buy Little, Buy On-Time)
manage supplier performance for best-in-class Asian supply base
managing ramp-up scenarios and ensuring seamless processes with departments such as supply chain and operations achieving best total cost of ownership for Nexperia
take commercial lead for CAPEX installations in close collaboration with HoS Global EPS
What you will needA commercial degree and >10 years of experience in semiconductor or similar industry
Proven track record of leadership roles
Lead by example and are a role model to our procurement team talents, and deliver results through teams
Excellent communication skills amongst various groups of stakeholders, also across borders (Tier 1+2 sites).
Proven negotiation and analytical skills.
Proven track record of international sourcing, ideally within semiconductor or automotive environment.
Work solution-oriented complying with agreed processes.
Capability of thinking out of the box.
Drive synergy spends together with HoS EU counterpart to consolidate count of suppliers and drive cost-down on consumables
Actively involve yourself in system improvement projects
