Job Description

Job Responsibilities: In-charge of the overall warehouse operations including full responsibility for the profit and loss of the division.To plan and supervise all activities and to ensure warehouse efficiencyMonitoring operating results against agreed objectives and direct measure to correct unsatisfactory conditions.Responsible for the optimum use of storage space and store layout in the warehouse and for customers' stock inventory records to be kept accurate and up to dateMaintain and ensure adherence to contractual agreements with customerDevelop and maintain high standard of customer service and satisfaction. Attends to customers' enquiries and adopt a proactive approach to minimize complaintsTo resolve operational matters and plan for progressive improvementResponsible for the coordination of all areas within the operationsTo verify reports related to operations before submission to managementProvide monthly management reports on overall performance against agreed objectives in the areas of warehouse utilization, stock movement of customers and other matters relating to warehousing and distribution.To drive and lead team according to SOP and achieve higher productivityLiaise closely with other departments in the group as the need arisesPerform other job related duties as and when required.Job Requirement: Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Master's Degree in Logistics/Transportation or equivalent.At least 10 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this positionPreferably Manager specializing in Purchasing/Inventory/Material & Warehouse Management
