Reporting to the Global Head of Project Design, Execution, and Technology, the Head of Project Management and Governance is responsible for overseeing the project management functions and establishing governance frameworks within the organization. This role involves strategic leadership in planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to deadlines and within budget, including acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants. Additionally, the role encompasses the development and implementation of governance processes to ensure projects align with corporate objectives while adhering to budget, quality, and timeline constraints and maintaining compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities Comprehensive Project Strategy and Governance Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive project management strategy and governance framework that encompasses all stages of the project lifecycle. Project Planning, Development, and Governance: Oversee project planning, scheduling, implementation, and governance, ensuring project milestones meet business objectives and governance standards. Team Leadership and Development: Lead and mentor project managers and supporting staff, promoting a culture of high performance, continuous learning, and adherence to governance principles. Budget, Resource Management, and Governance Compliance: Develop and manage project budgets and resources, ensuring projects comply with governance, legal, and regulatory frameworks. Stakeholder Management and Governance Reporting: Maintain continuous engagement with stakeholders, communicating project goals, objectives, progress, and governance compliance. Risk Management and Governance Oversight: Identify and manage project risks, developing mitigation and contingency plans within the governance framework. Quality Control, Assurance, and Governance Alignment: Uphold the highest standards of project quality and governance from planning to execution. Qualifications Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field. Professional project management and governance certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, CGEIT) is preferred. Extensive experience in project management and governance, preferably in green hydrogen and ammonia or related fields. Skills: Strong leadership, people management, team building, and governance oversight skills. Excellent organizational, communication, negotiation, and governance framework development skills. Proficiency in project management and governance software and tools. Personal Attributes: Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects and governance requirements simultaneously. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to project management and governance. Working Conditions: Office environment with occasional travel to project sites and flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and priorities. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the successful delivery and governance oversight of projects, aligning them with the company\'s strategic objectives and advancing green hydrogen and ammonia solutions.
