To lead and manage the Wealth Management and Affluent Segments departments in Malaysia, which cover the following functions:

Affluent Segments and Proposition
Core job objectives of the role covers the following:
Develop, sustain and deliver Malaysia strategy for all Wealth Management Products and advisory across all client segments in the country, aligned with the global wealth management strategy
Provide leadership and execute the Business strategy in country, delivering innovative and industry-leading Wealth Management solutions for CPBB
Deploy global segment strategies and client value proposition in-country, with an aim at making Standard Chartered a leading bank for our target Affluent and Emerging Affluent clients
Own the wealth management and affluent financial targets covering Income, Costs, AUM, Net New Sales, client acquisitions, and overall profitability of the business
Be the public face of Wealth Management and Affluent Segments in the country
Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver market-leading digital and technology capabilities, and achieve desired results in usage and adoption of the bank\xe2\x80\x99s platforms
Manage in-country use portfolio insights and analytics to enhance client engagement effectiveness and efficiency
Ensure proper policies and process control, and full compliance with internal and external guidelines
Provide oversight across products, ensuring compliance with the highest standards of regulatory conduct and compliance practices as defined by internal and external requirements. This includes compliance with local banking laws and other applicable laws (e.g. laws governing securities activities, company law) and anti-money laundering regulations and guidelines.

Take responsibility for embedding standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across the bank

Qualifications :
A relevant tertiary Degree or equivalent
10 years of working experience in financial services, preferably in wealth management
Strong communication skills, with ability to coherently articulate complex concepts in a digestible manner
Has proven track record in driving desired results and solving complex problems, with high attention to detail, strong organizational skills and excellent analytical skills
Experienced in providing competitor insights towards launching competitive / market-leading solutions, and self-driven in identifying and implementing innovation on existing offerings
Exceptional leadership skills, with ability in coaching and developing members of the team as part of our successor planning initiative
Fluency in business English
