Maintaining and updating HSE (Health, Safety and Environment) management systems, activities within the SPX facilities together with coordinating regional safety and implementing HSE standards
Involved with management in the preparation and implementation of company HSE (Health, Safety and Environment) policies in accordance with OHSE (Occupational Health, Safety and Environment) regulations
Support on in planning, coordinating, and implementing of effective HSE (Health, Safety and Environment) policies, guidelines, and procedures to ensure that the department objectives are achieved
Tracking and providing HSE performance, KPIs (Key Performance Indicators), incident reports to respective stakeholders
Monitor safety and environmental activities as such area & equipment inspection, contract service, emergency preparations, trainings, document reviews, measurements, reporting's, legal registrations and audit exercises to name a few
Analysing incidents to determine root causes and establish CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions) concepts
Coordinate HSE committees, ERTs (Environmental Response Team) to strengthen task force whilst abiding to local regulations and best practices
Have regular interaction with governing bodies and ensuring all documentation pertaining to ISO (International Organisation of Standards) standard and HSE are duly updated
Champion HSE training programs and roll out safety analysis, risk assessments together with coordination disaster recovery plans
Be directly involved in controlling access to SPX facilities and systems
Regularly enforce warehouse security regulations, intricate security incidents and mitigate any potential violations
Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health Safety and Environment or related disciplines
At least 3~5 years of proven working experience in HSE functions and in a large-scale manufacturing / warehousing environment
Excellent understanding and knowledge in OHSE / HSE based on local law and regulations
Relevant ISO, HSE or OHSAS (Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series) certification would be desirable; ideally a Greenbook holder
Portray the ability to manage complex issues, solutions oriented and able to work in a dynamic environment across cross-functional teams
Has an eye for detail and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Working location: Primarily based in Menara SouthPoint,MidValley
Willing to travel frequently to across Peninsular Malaysia
