Job Description

We are looking for a Health and Safety Intern. This role is based in Malaysia. You are expected to work closely with the Regional HSE Team for the input of critical data and is responsible for the analysis and monitoring of OKR related to the H&S Operations in the offices and FCs facilities. The H&S Intern is also required to monitor lagging and leading indicators and compliance metrics related to the safe, efficient and effective delivery of Regional H&S performance. Utilizing technical knowledge of G-form and Excel. The H&S Intern will be responsible for continuous improvement of various systems, processes, and documents.

Responsibilities:

• Incident Management, data extraction and analysis to develop a weekly/monthly report on Incident.
• Management such as days to report, investigation, closure of Inspection and Audit report.
• Competency Management, data extraction and analysis to develop weekly/monthly reports.
• Training, Certification and ongoing monitoring.
• Performance Management, conducting trend analysis on all incidents, near miss accidents, hazard identifications and positive observations
• Assisting on preparation of internal safety alerts, memos, correspondence, etc.
• Consolidate regional monthly data entry of indicators.
• Compile regulatory reports as directed by Authority from local H&S
• Various regulatory annual reporting requirements.
• Prepare HSE Quarterly and Annual Summary Report.
• Regulatory audit support as required.
• Compile data and reports from local H&S in regard to Emergency Response Plan updates; training exercises, updating new assets, tracking updates, etc.
• Asist in developing Training Presentation.
• Assist with developing and maintaining HSE document updates including the Corporate Health and Safety Manual.

Requirements:

• Have relevant tertiary studies, ie. Diploma or Degree in Health and Safety.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• 6 months duration of Internship
