Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

• Coordinates patient care at the clinic.
• Dispenses medications to patients correctly based on doctor\'s prescription.
• Assists in clinical procedures - Chaperoning doctors/Assisting doctors in clinical tasks such as dressing, blood taking, ECG and etc...
• Assists during Specialist clinics (ENT, O&G, Endocrine and etc...)
• Drafts and submits panel claims accordingly.
• Updates and documents medical care given to patients.
• Follow up with patients: Send reminders to patients regarding their follow-up treatment and vaccination/medical check-up appointments.
• Maintains good file-keeping and patient records.
• Responds to patient inquiries and answers phone calls.
• Inventory management - Stock-keeping and assists in ordering products.
• Maintains a clean and hygienic environment.

Qualifications/Education and Requirements:

• SPM, STPM, Medical Graduates, Diploma in Nursing, Diploma in Medical Assistant, Diploma in Pharmacy, Bachelor\'s Degree in Medical/Health Sciences. (or other equivalents).
• Previous working experience in clinic or hospital settings is preferred. (but not compulsory)
• Self-disciplined, mature, responsible, organized, and a team player with high integrity.
• Willing to learn, and able to work independently.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia. Ability to converse in other dialects will be an added bonus.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality with all aspects of information in accordance with State and Federal law.
