Position: Heat Treatment TechnicianIndustry: Aircraft MaintenanceWorking Location: Port Klang Free Zone (PKFZ) Pulau Indah, Selangor.Working Duration: 6 - 12 months contract with PERSOLKELLY (Renewable based on performance)Working Day/Hours: Monday - Friday; shift rotational hours.Salary: Basic range from RM2,500 - 4,000 (Based on qualifications, experience & skills) with statutory contribution + leave entitlement + medical coverageCompany Overview:A dynamic and rapidly growing company specializing in the repair and maintenance of aeroderivative turbines. • Perform heat treatment processes, including annealing, quenching, tempering, and other thermal treatments on components used in aeroderivative turbines.
• Process Monitoring and Control:

• Monitor and control temperature, time, and other parameters of thermal processes to achieve desired material properties.
• Material Preparation and Handling:

• Prepare materials for heat treatment by cleaning, masking, or other pre-treatment processes as required.
• Handle and transport materials safely to prevent damage or contamination.
• Quality Assurance:

• Inspect and test treated components to ensure they meet the required specifications and standards.
• Document heat treatment processes and results, including any deviations and corrective actions taken.
• Equipment Maintenance:

• Maintain and calibrate heat treatment equipment to ensure reliable performance and accuracy.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with thermal process equipment.
• Safety Compliance:

• Follow guidelines for handling hazardous materials and operating heat treatment equipment safely.
• Process Improvement:

• Continuously seek ways to improve thermal treatment processes, enhance efficiency, and reduce waste.
• Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with engineering, quality assurance, and production teams to align heat treatment processes with overall project goals.
• Provide feedback and recommendations on process improvements and equipment upgrades.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Materials Science, or a related field.
• Proficiency in thermal treatment processes and techniques.
• Understanding of materials science and the effects of heat treatment on different materials.
• Familiarity with heat treatment equipment and technologies.
• High level of accuracy and commitment to quality in all tasks, with the ability to detect and address potential issues.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse and team-oriented environment, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Previous experience in heat treatment or a related field is preferred.
• Flexibility to work shifts as needed.
