Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Helpdesk and Support Specialist to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing technical support, ensuring the smooth operation of PC/Laptop systems, and facilitating new batch rollouts and replacements. This role requires excellent troubleshooting skills across various areas including PC/Laptop, network, security, and viruses. Additionally, the candidate will work closely with the network, domain, and server administrators on users\' management in Active Directory (AD).Responsibilities:PC/Laptop Maintenance and Support:

• Provide frontline technical support for PC/Laptop-related issues.
• Conduct regular maintenance checks to ensure the optimal performance of PC/Laptop systems.

New Batch Rollouts and Replacements:

• Facilitate the setup and deployment of new batches of PCs/Laptops.
• Coordinate the replacement of outdated or malfunctioning devices.

Technical Troubleshooting:

• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues for end-users, including network, security, and virus-related problems.
• Ensure timely resolution of reported incidents and service requests.

Collaboration with IT Teams:

• Collaborate with IT teams to understand specific technical requirements and tailor support accordingly.
• Participate in the planning and execution of IT initiatives related to IT processes.

Users Management in AD:

• Work closely with network, domain, and server administrators to manage users in Active Directory.
• Assist in the implementation of security and access policies for users.

Documentation:

• Maintain accurate records of PC/Laptop inventory, configurations, and maintenance history.
• Document support procedures and solutions for common issues.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor\'s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field with a minimum CGPA of 3.00.
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a helpdesk or technical support role.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across PC/Laptop, network, security, and virus-related issues.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications in relevant IT support areas.
• Understanding of security and compliance considerations in IT.
• Familiarity with helpdesk ticketing systems.
