Intro ParagraphWe are looking for a High Voltage Engineer to join the Project Owner\xe2\x80\x99s EPCM team for our LSS CGPP project in Sungai Petani, Kedah. • Supervision and coordination of all aspects of HV Electrical construction activities which include the 132kV Step-up Substation, 132kV Interconnector Facility, and 132kV TNB Interconnection Facilities works conducted by the EPC Contractor;
• Providing technical support and site information input to fellow member within ib vogt;
• Attending Site inspections related HV Work Package construction works;
• Monitoring and reporting of project construction timeline;
• Monitoring and ensuring the quality of all materials to be used for electrical installations and all electrical construction works comply with the contractual requirements, specifications and the construction drawings, and propose solutions to any electrical construction issue on site;
• Managing QA/QC documentation for electrical related certificates, calibration, test results, inspection request, non-compliance reports and site instruction/observations, permanent materials delivered and other QA/QC documents;
• Monitoring and ensuring contractual & regulatory compliance by the EPCC contractors for electrical tests during plant commissioning procedures on critical contractual dates such as Mechanical Completion (MC), Initial Operation Date (IOD) and Commercial Operation Date (COD);
• Monitoring the programme and timelines of all electrical works, and propose measures to alleviate any delays or deviations from the approved programmes;
• Preparation of periodic progress reports on all electrical installation activities, electrical QAQC reports and advice the management on possible solutions to any electrical construction issues on site;
• Arranging meetings and discussions with the EPC Contractor, witness tests related to electrical works, and represent the Project Owner on electrical matters in meetings;
• Ensuring all information and documents related to electrical works and test submitted by the EPC Contractor are reviewed and prepared accordingly to comply with the contractual requirements;
• Coordinating with fellow members of ib vogt personnel in monitoring the construction activities on site;
• Coordinating with external parties i.e Owner\xe2\x80\x99s Engineer, Lender Technical Advisor and Independent Engineer with respect of electrical construction activities, design works, QAQC and etc;
• Ensuring Health & Safety requirements are met onsite;
• Identification and management of risks and chances during construction;
• Creation of punch lists;
• All tasks related to HV Work Package of the solar plant construction works;

Your profile

• At least 3-5 years of 132kV Substation and 132kV Underground Cable projects management experience;
• Knowledgeable in HV Electrical Design;
• Proficient with grid interconnection and substation (up to 132kV) experience;
• Knowledgeable on power distribution systems (switchgear), protection and control systems;
• Well acquainted with design principles, codes and standard for Malaysia Grid Code, TNB Interconnection Facilities requirements and equivalents;
• Bachelor\'s Degree in Electrical Engineering with major in Power System or equivalent;
• Able to interpret and understand construction drawings;
• Wiling to work in Sg Petani, Kedah;
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and verbal);
• Computer literate i.e Microsoft Office suite, Cloud Sharepoint and etc related to the job description;
• Possesses CIDB Construction Personnel Card (CIDB Green Card) and NTSP and/or NTSPL;
