Responsible for delivering subject-specific teaching (History), guiding student development, supporting co-curricular and exam activities, maintaining academic records, and contributing to school operations and events.
Duties & Responsibilities
Conduct dynamic and effective lessons in designated subjects, ensuring alignment with curriculum goals and exam requirements.
Encourage inquiry-based learning while enhancing students' critical thinking and analytical abilities.
Track student performance and offer personalized academic support to help them meet learning objectives.
Promote positive behavior and uphold a respectful, inclusive classroom environment.
Prepare students for school and external examinations through comprehensive revision and assessment materials.
Engage in co-curricular activities by planning sessions, tracking participation, and supporting student involvement.
Assist with marketing initiatives and represent the school during relevant events and activities.
Ensure accurate documentation of attendance, assignments, and academic progress via the School Education Management System (SEMS).
Participate actively in staff meetings, school programs, and collaborative efforts for student development.
Act as an invigilator for both internal assessments and external (CIE) examinations, when assigned.
Requirements :
Education
: At least a Bachelor's degree in the relevant field with appropriately related professional and / or teaching experience.
Experience
: At least 2 years relevant experience.
