Job Description
(12 HOURS SHIFT)
1. The Ward Assistant is a member of the unit / nursing team who is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care under the supervision and direction of the Nurse Supervisor, Senior Staff Nurse and Staff Nurse.
2. To provide high standard of quality care.
3. To create a clean and conducive environment.
4. To meet total patient satisfaction.
5. To ensure practice of safe nursing care for all patients.
6. To ensure compliance with established departmental/unit policies and procedures, continuous quality improvement objective, environmental safety and infection control standards in line with the organization's Vision, Mission and Core values.
7. To ensure the provision and maintenance of a hazard- free working environment in terms of infections and accidents for both patients and others.
8. To ensure the dignity and rights of patients are not breach upon by other members of the Hospital staff and to maintain confidentially at all times.
9. Perform other related duties as assigned by the Manager and/or Staff Nurses of the unit.
10. Must be ready to be deployed to another department.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
