Job Description

  • Oversee and manage the household team, including housekeepers, gardener, driver, and maintenance staff.
  • Train and supervise local helpers and coordinators in the country to maintain consistent service standards.
  • Ensure the residence is kept in impeccable condition, with attention to detail in presentation, cleanliness, and functionality.
  • Coordinate household schedules, maintenance, and special projects as needed.
  • Operate from the home office located in the house's basement.
  • When the family is in Singapore, availability to work on Saturdays and Sundays is required. When the family is overseas (approximately 50% of the year), the House Manager may take four days off.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in senior hospitality roles such as General Manager, Director of Rooms, or Executive Housekeeper in reputable hotels with high service standards.
  • Strong sense of organization, discretion, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Appreciation for beauty, aesthetics, and maintaining a refined household environment.
  • Able to communicate effectively in English, Malay, and Mandarin or Hokkien.
