Oversee and manage the household team, including housekeepers, gardener, driver, and maintenance staff.
Train and supervise local helpers and coordinators in the country to maintain consistent service standards.
Ensure the residence is kept in impeccable condition, with attention to detail in presentation, cleanliness, and functionality.
Coordinate household schedules, maintenance, and special projects as needed.
Operate from the home office located in the house's basement.
When the family is in Singapore, availability to work on Saturdays and Sundays is required. When the family is overseas (approximately 50% of the year), the House Manager may take four days off.
Requirements
Proven experience in senior hospitality roles such as General Manager, Director of Rooms, or Executive Housekeeper in reputable hotels with high service standards.
Strong sense of organization, discretion, and attention to detail.
Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
Appreciation for beauty, aesthetics, and maintaining a refined household environment.
Able to communicate effectively in English, Malay, and Mandarin or Hokkien.
