Supports the cleanliness, comfort, and presentation of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a welcoming and hygienic environment that reflects the resort's standards of excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Clean and service guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas to established standards
Replenish amenities, linens, and supplies as required
Report maintenance issues or room discrepancies promptly
Maintain housekeeping trolleys and storage areas in clean, organized condition
Assist with laundry duties including sorting, folding, and delivery
Follow safety, hygiene, and infection control protocols at all times
Support deep-cleaning schedules and special cleaning projects
Uphold guest privacy and respond courteously to guest requests
Skills & Attributes:
Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
Physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks
Time management and ability to work independently
Basic communication skills in English and/or Bahasa Malaysia
Familiarity with cleaning equipment and safe chemical usage
Positive attitude and team spirit
Qualifications:
Minimum SPM or equivalent
Prior housekeeping experience preferred but not required
On-the-job training provided
