? To ensure that the rooms are maintained up to the hotel standard, to ensure that special jobs are carried out satisfactorily and to assist when an emergency arises and to assist in preparation of job training ar any in house training programmes.
? Reporting to maintenance defects in rooms and areas assigned.
? Checking of rooms an reporting cleaned and vacant room to Housekeeper Office/ supervisor regularly.
? Update room status from time to time to thru system.
? Checking of vacant rooms first thing in the morning and reporting any discrepancies to Front Desk and Housekeeper.
? Ensure cleanliness of all areas assigned including vending areas, public stairways, windows, linen rooms.
? To ensure that all trolleys are clean and tidy and linens and supplies are properly stacked at end of day and start of day, that maids have enough supplies linen, cleaning materials, vacuum cleaners etc.
