Duties and Responsibilities:

Supervise and guide floor team leaders, room attendants, and public area attendants in their daily tasks.

Inspect guest rooms, corridors, and public areas to ensure cleanliness and maintenance meet hotel standards.

Assist in organizing daily work schedules, staff deployment and task allocation.

Support the implementation of housekeeping standards and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Provide training and coaching to new and existing housekeeping staff.

Handle guest requests, complaints, and special room arrangements in a timely and professional manner.

Assist in inventory control of linens, cleaning supplies, and guest amenities.

Prepare daily inspection reports, handover logs, and housekeeping records.

Handle housekeeping staff attendance.

Coordinate with outsource companies regarding foreigners matters.

Coordinate and follow up with Engineering Team on defect rectification progress, keep defect list updated.

Coordinate with Front Office Team on VIP room assignment and inspection.

Prepare and keep track of purchase request list, follow up with Purchasing Department.

Ensure all staff comply with hotel policies, grooming standards and hygiene practices.

Job Requirements

Certificate or Diploma in Hospitality or Housekeeping Management is a plus.

At least 2-3 years of housekeeping experience in a hotel environment, with prior team lead experience is preferred.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards.

Familiarity with hotel housekeeping procedures and safety standards.

Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Proficient in English and Malay; Mandarin is an advantage.
