We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Housekeeping Manager to join our team based on the island The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of housekeeping operations to ensure cleanliness, orderliness, and a welcoming environment for our guests. Duties include managing a team of housekeeping staff, scheduling, inventory management, budgeting, and ensuring compliance with safety and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage the daily operations of the housekeeping department. Hire, train, and supervise housekeeping staff. Create and maintain cleaning schedules. Inspect rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness standards are met. Order and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and amenities. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the highest standards of efficiency and quality. Handle guest complaints and requests in a timely and professional manner. Conduct regular performance evaluations of staff. Monitor and manage departmental budgets. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Prerequisites:

Demonstrated proficiency as an Housekeeper or similar position within the hospitality sector. Demonstrated leadership capabilities coupled with adept managerial competencies. Excellent communication skills and interpersonal finesse. Meticulous attention to detail, adept at multitasking, and skilled in prioritisation. Expertise in cleaning methodologies and adherence to sanitation norms. Familiarity with inventory oversight and adeptness in budgetary matters. Flexibility in scheduling, inclusive of weekends and holidays. Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent.
Compensation and Benefits:

A competitive salary and benefits package will be offered for this position. The role is based on the island, and accommodation provided. Meals, and boat transfers will also be part of the package, along with comprehensive insurance and medical coverage, and annual leave entitlement.
