POSITION SUMMARY:

Housekeeping Officer need to assist in supervise and monitor the housekeeping operations which is including laundry & linen services and outside vendor including cleaning services, landscaping, clinical waste management, general waste collection and fresh flower supply in accordance to management standard.

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION:

Certificate in Housekeeping & Linen

SKILSS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

'As the next appointee in housekeeping matters after the Head of Unit, Housekeeping, Linen & Laundry. Responsible for the effective and efficient of the department. Assist to plan and develop the department to serve the needs of Avisena, AWCSH. Make a daily comprehensive inspection and rounding in the entire hospital area. Assist in planning, conducting and evaluating staff orientation, in serve training and educations programme for the staff. .To supervise cleaning services, landscaping, laundry services and subcontractor performance on overall customer satisfaction quarterly. To ensure department running cost are kept under control. To assist HOU to ensure proper handling of infection. To assist HOU to lead, supervise and counsel subordinates in daily routine job control and safety to the department. To ensure all procedure are carried out in proper manner. To perform others duties as and when required by management from time to time. Participate in departmental meeting. To take additional workload during shortage of staff. To take reasonable care at workplace for the safety of oneself, other and to comply with any instruction or measure on occupational safety, health and environment as required. To perform other related duties as assigned.
