Job Summary:

The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Housekeeping team to ensure all guest rooms and assigned public areas are cleaned to the hotel's standards. This role involves supervising attendants, conducting inspections, reporting maintenance issues, and ensuring smooth, efficient operations while maintaining excellent guest service.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Supervision

Supervise, guide, and support Room Attendants and Public Area Attendants during daily operations. Assign rooms and cleaning tasks, ensuring productivity and efficiency throughout the shift. Inspect cleaned rooms, corridors, and designated public areas to ensure they meet hotel standards. Monitor pantry and trolley cleanliness, ensuring all supplies are stocked and maintained.

Quality & Standards

Ensure grooming, uniform, and work conduct of attendants comply with hotel policies. Check guest rooms for maintenance issues, damages, or missing amenities and report promptly. Maintain high hygiene and cleanliness standards in all areas under Housekeeping.

Guest Service

Handle guest requests professionally and respond to issues or complaints promptly. Coordinate with Front Office on room status updates, rush rooms, VIP arrivals, and special requests.

Administrative Duties

Update room status, housekeeping reports, and daily checklists accurately. Assist in staff attendance tracking, on-the-job training, and performance monitoring. Ensure lost and found procedures are followed strictly.

Job Requirements:

Minimum SPM/Diploma in Hospitality or related field. At least

2-3 years of housekeeping experience

, with at least

1 year in a supervisory role

preferred. Strong knowledge of room cleaning standards, chemical usage, and equipment handling. Good communication skills in

English and Bahasa Melayu

. Proactive, organized, and able to lead a team effectively. Physically fit and able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays. Candidates must be

currently residing in Malaysia

Job Type: Contract

Pay: RM2,300.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
