Job Description

Responsibilities: \xe2\x80\xa2 Manage the daily activities of the Housekeeping department to include appropriate cleaning of all bedrooms, public areas and offices. \xe2\x80\xa2 Planning, organising and directing team members to ensure the highest degree of patient satisfaction and high standards of cleanliness. \xe2\x80\xa2 To monitor, check and maintain standards of cleanliness within all areas of the resorts on a daily basis. \xe2\x80\xa2 Responsible to purchase, order and maintain housekeeping supplies and inventory. \xe2\x80\xa2 Recruit, schedule and train all new housekeeping staff members. \xe2\x80\xa2 Manage the housekeeping budget, control the holidays and staff schedule. \xe2\x80\xa2 Maintain a cost control system for supplies, linen and cleaning supplies for efficient operation of the resorts. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensures the proper maintenance of all equipment; makes arrangements for repair and/or replacement of used and damaged equipment. \xe2\x80\xa2 To review and update the self-check cleaning sheets and to undertake all audits \xe2\x80\xa2 To liaise with all the other departments to ensure the smooth operation of the resorts. \xe2\x80\xa2 To champion COSH for the department, including safe use and PPE for the team. Qualifications: \xe2\x80\xa2 Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, or equivalent. \xe2\x80\xa2 Must be able to communicate (read and write) in Bahasa and English. \xe2\x80\xa2 At least 5 years of exposure in the related field. \xe2\x80\xa2 ISO and IT literate.
