Job descriptionDuties and Responsibilities:
Clean and maintain rooms, public areas, or designated workspaces by following established cleaning procedures and checklists.
Dust, sweep, mop, and vacuum floors as necessary.
Change bed linens, replace towels, and restock amenities.
Empty trash cans and replace liners.
Disinfect and clean surfaces, including countertops, appliances, and bathroom fixtures.
Report any maintenance issues, damage, or safety concerns to the supervisor.
Handle and store cleaning products and equipment safely.
Keep track of inventory and request cleaning supplies when needed.
Follow safety protocols and guidelines, including the proper use of personal protective equipment.
Interact with guests, clients, or residents in a polite and professional manner.
Adhere to privacy and confidentiality standards when cleaning private areas.
Assist with special cleaning projects and deep cleaning tasks.
Collaborate with other housekeeping staff and maintain good teamwork.
Attend training sessions on cleaning procedures, safety, and customer service.
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
Requirements:
MALAYSIAN only
Previous housekeeping experience preferred but not required
Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
Good physical stamina; ability to lift heavy items and stand for long periods
Strong communication and customer service skills
Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as needed
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
