Job Description

• Ability to work on own initiative and able to carry on instructions given by the superior.

Responsibilities

Merchandising Display

• Daily checking on the merchandising display photos and storage photos posted by outlet in the whatsapp group.
• To ensure all outlets are maintaining the planogram set by HQ Merchandising.

Monthly Bulletin

• Monitor the monthly bulletin for A suppliers and propose the items after negotiate with supplier on the promotion price.
• Monitor the sales of selected promotion items and prepare a brief report for HQ Merchandising Manager.
• Assist Outlet
• To assist outlet with all the issues related to merchandising including order, delivery, return item, merchandiser and etc.
• To monitor the Return Item whatsapp group to ensure outlet is following the SOP.
• Price Revision / Increase
• To work with supplier on the price revision to ensure a grace period of old price is given before the price increase.
• To compare the price with the competitors for the same item to decide if we should continue to sell.
• To adjust the new selling price based on the markup guideline.

New Product / SKU Listing

• To follow the SOP for New Product / SKU Listing.

Outlet Visit

• To visit 1 time per week for each outlet. To spend at least 2 hours for each visit to check on: merchandising display, stock level at the store, planogram and return item.

Market Intelligence

• To survey the competitors to compare the price and support given by supplier to competitor and Matahari.
• To use the survey material to negotiate with supplier.

In-Store & Mailer Promotion

• To contribute by negotiate with supplier on the promotion item and monetary support given.
• Income
• To negotiate with supplier on Display Rental to increase the profit.
• To negotiate with supplier for additional trade discount, scan sales, ad hoc rental display and etc.

Gross Profit - GP

• To monitor monthly GP for all the departments under supervision to make sure the GP doesn't fall below the guideline.
• To report to the Top Management if the GP fall below the guideline.

Stock Control at DC Warehouse

• DC ordering should be done for A item. The order should be done when the price is very cheap, P- stock, to achieve monthly or quarterly target.
