full spectrum of HR functions
including recruitment, employee relations, disciplinary actions, staff welfare, and HR compliance --
excluding payroll
. The candidate must also represent the company in dealings with
authorities and legal bodies
. Fluency in
English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin
is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Onboarding
:
Manage end-to-end recruitment process including job posting, interviewing, and selection.
Conduct onboarding programs for new hires to ensure smooth assimilation.
Employee Relations
:
Handle employee grievances, complaints, and conflict resolution professionally and confidentially.
Foster a positive and inclusive work environment across all branches.
HR Policies & Compliance
:
Ensure compliance with all HR policies, labor laws, and regulations.
Update policies and SOPs as necessary in line with changes in the law or company direction.
Represent the company in HR-related audits, inspections, and official meetings with government bodies (e.g. JTK, PERKESO, HRDF, Immigration, etc.).
Staff Welfare & Engagement
:
Plan and implement staff engagement initiatives, activities, and welfare programs.
Monitor and follow up on staff well-being, medical cases, hostel issues (if applicable), and safety-related concerns.
Performance & Disciplinary Management
:
Support and coordinate performance appraisal processes.
Handle disciplinary and misconduct cases, prepare necessary documentation, and conduct domestic inquiries if required.
Branch Support
:
Act as the main liaison for HR matters in
Kedah and Johor Bahru
branches.
Provide support and guidance to branch-level supervisors and employees.
Requirements:
Education
: Diploma/Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience
: Minimum
3-5 years
in HR generalist roles; prior experience in the
construction or property development industry
is an added advantage.
Language Proficiency
:
Must be able to
speak, read, and write
fluently in
English

Bahasa Malaysia

Mandarin
.
Skills
:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Good knowledge of Malaysian employment laws and HR best practices.
Able to work independently, manage multiple sites, and handle sensitive issues with maturity and confidentiality.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and HR documentation.
Others
:
Willing to travel between branches when necessary.
Possess own transport is preferred.
