Job Overview
The HR Manager will oversee the full spectrum of human resources functions, including recruitment, payroll, compensation and benefits, training, employee relations, and compliance with Malaysian labor laws. Reporting to the General Manager, this role plays a key part in shaping a positive workplace culture, managing both local and foreign workforce matters, and driving strategic HR initiatives that align with business goals. The ideal candidate is a proactive and experienced HR professional with strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, capable of balancing strategic planning with hands-on operational support in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement recruitment programs to meet the company's growing manpower needs.
  • Provide recruitment counsel and guidance to hiring managers with hiring employment data.
  • Administering the organization's compensation and benefits programs (e.g., leave policies, insurance policies, team building program, etc.)
  • Be an active leader to create a good working environment and increase staff satisfaction.
  • To ensure timely processing of payroll and ensure payroll transactions are performed accurately.
  • To act as liaison with relevant Government agencies and authorities.
  • To manage and ensure compliance of local regulation and HR requirements.
  • Maintain proper and accurate HR records.
  • To handle employee relations matters including discipline, grievances and domestic inquiry.
  • Work in close partnership with managers to develop and implement HR practices and policies to support business expansion.
  • Conduct regular updates on IR policies, process and procedures to keep the company abreast of current practices and communicate to management on any new development.
  • Identify required competencies and implement relevant training programs.
  • Collaborates with department managers to identify learning and educational interventions to promote successor growth.
  • Responsible for the talent pool in the organization and securing their development.
  • Experience in handling foreign worker issues and know the procedure to apply for a new foreign worker, renewal permit & etc.
  • Responsible for foreign worker management and foreign worker welfare and facilities management.
  • Familiar with foreign workers recruitment channels and to efficiently manage foreign workers.
  • Have a certain network resource; familiar with the relevant Immigration, the Ministry of Labor and other relevant government work processes.
  • Liaise with immigration on expatriate related matters.
Qualifications & Experiences Needed:
  • Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Professional Degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Strong knowledge in Malaysia Labour Laws and Employment Act.
  • Result oriented with strong drive and a team player.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to interact with all levels of employees.
  • Have strong analytical skills with ability to analyze situations accurately and effectively.
  • Self-motivated, meticulous, well organized and detail oriented
  • Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English, Mandarin (required to
