Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION



As an HR Assistant, you will support day-to-day human resources operations, staff welfare, and administrative duties. Key responsibilities include:

Core Responsibilities:



- Update daily staff attendance records

- Manage leave applications and records

- Assist in monthly payroll preparation - calculate overtime and staff claims

- Coordinate training, briefing, and development activities for staff

- Organize internal staff events, team building, and gatherings

- Assist in recruitment processes: job postings, interview scheduling, candidate tracking

- Attend to employee queries in a timely and service-led manner

- Manage office stationery inventory and supply

- Handle staff benefits (medical, insurance, claims, etc.)

- Maintain and update staff personal files

- Act as Document Controller for all HR & management-related files

- Assist in building maintenance and facility reporting

- Replenish and maintain first-aid boxes

- Prepare proposals for HR and Admin-related activities

Additional Responsibilities

- Issue HR letters (e.g. offer letter, confirmation, warning letter, resignation acceptance, etc.)

- Ensure HR policies and procedures are updated and communicated to all staff

- Support onboarding process for new hires: orientation, forms, documentation

- Track and compile monthly HR reports (e.g. attendance, turnover, claims)

- Maintain compliance with statutory requirements (SOCSO, EPF, EIS, etc.)

- Manage hostels/staff accommodation (if applicable)

- Monitor renewal of company licenses and documents

REQUIREMENTS



- Diploma/Degree in Human Resource Management or related field

- Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills

- Positive attitude, trustworthy and self-motivated

- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply

- Willing to work in Semenyih, Selangor

- Able to commute reliably or relocate before starting work

SALARY:

RM2,000 - RM2,200 per month (Full-time, Permanent)
