Job Description

Job Summary

The Human Resource Assistant supports the HR department in delivering efficient human resource services within a manufacturing environment. The role focuses on administrative support, employee records management, recruitment assistance, timekeeping coordination, and compliance with labor and safety regulations. The HR Assistant plays a key role in supporting a productive, safe, and compliant workforce.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Onboarding



Prepare employment contracts, offer letters, and onboarding documents Coordinate new employee orientations and plant induction programs

Employee Records & HR Administration



Maintain accurate employee files (personal data, attendance, contracts, evaluations) Handle employee inquiries regarding policies, benefits, and procedures

Timekeeping & Payroll Support



Collect and verify timekeeping records, shift schedules, and overtime data Assist payroll processing by preparing attendance and leave reports Coordinate with production supervisors on attendance and shift changes

Foreign Worker Management



Monitor foreign worker permit renewal Arrange for FOMEMA medical check-up Submit for renewal of application through the ELPKS system

Compliance & Safety Support



Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and manufacturing regulations Assist in tracking mandatory trainings (safety, PPE, machine operation) Support audits and inspections related to HR and labor compliance

General HR/Admin Support



Support in administrative scope such as waste management, payments for utilities, back-up for receptionist, Prepare HR reports and documentation as required Managing chemical usage inventory and record keeping Support HR projects such as company event and etc Perform other HR-related duties as assigned
Qualifications & Skills

Education



Minimum Diploma in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field

Experience



1-2 years of HR or administrative experience (manufacturing experience preferred) However, fresh graduates are encourage to apply

Skills & Competencies



Familiarity with timekeeping and payroll systems Strong organizational and record-keeping skills Effective communication and interpersonal skills Ability to handle confidential information with integrity Proficient in MS Office and HR software
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresh graduate

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
