Job Description


Air Liquide began operations in Malaysia in 1927 and is one of the pioneers of the gas industry in Malaysia. Operating in 11 locations in Malaysia, comprising both sales offices and production facilities, Air Liquide supports our customers through providing innovative solutions at every step of their production, including industrial and specialty gases, energy solutions, application technologies and services. Your Role
HRBP covers HR scope and works closely with stakeholders. You will co-creating business value by proactively defining and executing talent strategy to address the business needs and enabling people to achieve their highest potential. You have to contribute to strategy discussions and decision-making, and help execute strategy and provide ideas and challenges to management teams, thus acting as a change agent. Being the expert and conduit on people challenges\xe2\x80\x93especially talent, performance and change and advising them on people issues, supported by robust measurement and evaluation. You also collaborate with other parts of HR to align their work with the business and to deliver seamless service.

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

Develop and execute the business strategy in building strong and solid relationships with internal / external key stakeholders and influencing business leaders in decision making.

Drive implementation by providing consultancy, coaching, HR solutions to engage and inspire people to ensure performance is managed at individual and team levels.

Formulate HR strategy / Priorities to sustain business success through building critical competencies for the organization according to business growth needs.

Lead the talent attraction, development (training), retention topics, succession planning and build talent pipeline, and drive Leadership development.

Improve employee experience, promote organizational culture & value inside & outside the company and promote new ways of working.

Drive HR Operational Excellence via collaborating and coordinating with HR teams and HR Shared Services Centre to implement HR initiatives, solve HR issues in responsible business scope and ensure the HR policies and procedures applicable to the regional level.

Define and execute action plans based on HR data analytics.

Plays an influential role in business transformation and change management.

Understand the changes about external business context, such as technology, politics, economics, etc.

Anticipate the future market trends that are likely to impact HR needs & provide the market pulse for the HR teams.

Are you a MATCH?

Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree required

At least 8 years of experience as a HR Business Partner/Manager/Generalist. Experience in Industrial relations in a unionized environment will be preferred

Willing to grow their professional career into future senior roles

Human Resource experiences should be in business partnering capacity and experience in managing stakeholders (strongly preferred)

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Great verbal and written communications skills; not afraid to speak up when required

Meticulous attention to detail, quality, and follow through; strong Influencing and interpersonal skills

Proficient in MS Office suite of software

Strong Knowledge of employment law and applications

Fluent in English, Mandarin would be added advantage
